Goa cops arrested for allegedly planting drugs on Israeli man

Panaji: The CBI has arrested five constables of the Goa Anti-Narcotics Cell for allegedly planting drugs on an Israeli man.

David Driham alias Dudu was arrested in 2009 on charges of dealing with drugs. His arrest had led to the detention of another alleged Israeli drug dealer, identified as Attala.

The probe that followed bared the police-drug mafia-politicians nexus in the state and led to the arrest of several cops.

More details are awaited.
