Gurgaon : Two persons were arrested in Sohna area in Gurgaon where they were digging a borewell, allegedly without permission of the authorities.
A First Information Report has been lodged against both of them and the boring machine has been seized.
One Kamal Singh was getting a borewell dug in his field near village Dohla without obtaining the prior permission from the Deputy Commissioner.
The directions for a strict check on digging of borewells were issued by Deputy Commissioner P C Meena on Monday in the backdrop of the death of a 4-year-old girl who fell into a borewell in Gurgaon last week.
