At least 29 persons suffered burn injuries today when a portion of a three-star hotel caught fire following leakage of cooking gas from its kitchen, police said.
They said all the injured were hotel employees.
The victims were immediately rushed to a private hospital, police said.
Fire tenders were pressed to bring the blaze under control, they said.
