65-year-old disabled man found murdered in Gurgaon

Gurgaon: The body of a 65-year-old disabled man, who was allegedly murdered, was found in a field in Gurgaon on Friday, police said.

The incident happened in Farukh Nagar area, some 20 kilometres from Gurgaon city.

"Two men not known to me, who are in their late 20s and often came to our house, Thursday evening visited my father. Later, they left with my father in his car, leaving their motorcycles here," Rakesh, son of the victim Jagdish Singh, told police.

Jagdish Singh's body was recovered from the fields. His head bore injuries inflicted by a blunt object and his broken crutch was found nearby. His car was also smashed, police said.

The two men who accompanied the victim are missing.

Police are investigating and declined to give any details. "We cannot say anything at this stage," said a police officer.
