Gurgaon: Two people were arrested and 336 kg cannabis worth Rs.30 lakh was recovered from their possession, police said in Gugaon today.
The two were identified as Pappu Yadav and Kishanveer. They were arrested from the Sadar police station area here.
They had been working for Anil Kumar, a resident of Sonipat district in Haryana, for over two months and used to supply drugs in Delhi and other areas of the National Capital Region..
"They used to smuggle the cannabis from Odisha and West Bengal in trucks," a senior police officer said. "We are grilling them in police remand," he added.
"The mastermind Anil will also be arrested soon," the officer said.
