Gurgaon cops lathicharge mob attempting to harass girl

Gurgaon: The new year celebrations took on an unpleasant turn in Gurgaon on Delhi's outskirts. The police in Gurgaon lathicharged a mob of around 25-30 people to prevent them from chasing a girl and harassing her outside a pub.

The Police said many in the crowd were venting their anger at not being able to get into any of the hotels or pubs where new year celebrations had been organised.
