Gurgaon:
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday said he supported the formation of Gurgaon Development Authority (GDA) for the city and blamed the previous governments for keeping the issue under wraps.
The "negative attitude" of the previous governments in Haryana made the issue a complex one and the present Bharatiya Janata Party government is working on it, the Chief Minister told the media.
"Discussions have been started and complexities are being removed," he said.
Mr Khattar was in Gurgaon to unveil free Wi-Fi zones and to launch the 'Green Gurgaon' campaign.
Asked about the suspension of six executive engineers of the Gurgaon Municipal Corporation, he said his government was for zero tolerance against corruption.
Whosoever is found involved in corruption would be dealt with firmly, Mr Khattar said.
