Property dealer thrown off 22nd storey of Gurgaon building

Gurgaon: A contractor allegedly killed a Delhi-based property dealer he owed money to by pushing him off the 22nd floor of an under-construction building in Gurgaon, police said on Thursday. He has been arrested.

The accused has been identified as Vinod Arora, a resident of Delhi's West Patel Nagar.

According to police, Arora borrowed money on interest from property dealer Nand Kishore, who lived in the same area.

Arora, a Plaster of Paris (POP) sub-contractor, needed more money but Nand Kishore refused. He took Nand Kishore to Gurgaon on Wednesday on the pretext of showing the sites where he was working.

However, even after being shown sites when Nand Kishore refused to lend more money, Arora threw him off the 22nd storey of an under-construction building in sector 48.

Arora first tried to present the case as an accident, than suicide but finally admitted the truth.

"We have registered a case under section 302 and some other sections of IPC," said an official from the Badshahpur police station.
