Gurgaon: A 30-year-old Delhi-based taxi owner was arrested here for chasing and molesting a 25-year-old woman advocate, police said on Sunday.
Vinod Kumar, from Chhatarpur in south Delhi, was taken into custody from South City market here.
"The accused started chasing and passing obscene gestures to the advocate who was driving her car," police officer Jaiprakash said.
The woman, a resident of South City, informed her father and the police control room that she was being pursued by the man.
At one junction, he got off his car, approached the advocate and tried to molest her, the officer said.
"We arrested him when he tried to approach the woman," the officer said.
"The victim had gone to Noida regarding a business meeting. We laud her courage," he added.
