Two government employees held in bribery cases in Andhra Pradesh

Hyderabad: Two state government employees were trapped by the officials of Anti-Corruption Bureau, while accepting bribes in separate cases in Andhra Pradesh, an official release said.

In Kadapa district, Challa Mallikaruna Reddy, Deputy Surveyor, was caught at Chinnamandyam, when he demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 4,000 from the complainant.

In another case in Srikakulam district B Gowri Manohar Rao, Assistant Statistical Officer at Vajrapu Kothuru was caught red-handed by the ACB officials in the office of MRO while accepting Rs 2,000 from the complainant D Venkatesh for processing the application for issuance of birth certificate, according to a release from ACB.
