Guwahati: Two persons were killed and 27 others injured, including two seriously, when their bus fell into a road side ditch in Nagaon district of Assam on Tuesday.
The driver of the private bus going from Nagaon town to Jorhat lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree due to which it rolled into the ditch, police said.
Two bodies were recovered from the bus and one of them was identified as Abdul Malek.
The injured were admitted to jakhalabandha hospital, they added.
