Gold jewellery of 3.5 kg weight was stolen from a jeweller's car in Hyderabad, police said today.
According to Kukatpally police station inspector Purushotham, the incident took place yesterday following which victim Abhishek Agarwal lodged a police complaint.
Yesterday, Mr Agarwal went to a jewellery store at Chandanagar carrying 3.5 Kg gold ornaments and while he was returning he found his car tyre punctured and started work to replace it. After changing the tyre, when he got inside the car he found the bag containing the gold ornaments missing, the complaint said.
Following the complaint, a case under section 379 (theft) of IPC was registered and further investigation was underway.
