Hyderabad:
A three-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a karate instructor at a play school in Kushaiguda area in Hyderabad, police said today.
The accused, Sai Kumar, took the victim to the washroom and allegedly raped her. The incident took place a week ago, they said.
A case has been registered under section 376 of IPC and relevant sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act against Kumar following a complaint filed by the minor's parents, Kushaiguda Police station inspector N Venkataramana said.
The erring instructor has been taken into custody for questioning, police said, adding, further investigation is on.
