Around 5,000 junior doctors across Andhra Pradesh are on a strike demanding a reduction in compulsory visits to rural areas.
Today is the seventh day of their indefinite hunger strike.
Services in hospitals across the state have been affected because of the strike. The doctors have also threatened to withdraw emergency services from tomorrow.
