Hyderabad: A cab driver allegedly attempted rape on a woman passenger in Rajidar Nagar in Hyderabad, police said today.
The incident took place late last night after which the survivor, an air-hostess lodged a complaint.
"The woman has lodged a complaint saying the driver of the cab allegedly attempted to rape her while she was travelling in the vehicle," Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shamshabad Zone) Sunpreet Singh said.
The driver has been booked under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code and further investigations are on, the DCP said.
