Hyderabad: A police constable allegedly attempted suicide by drinking kerosene in Hyderabad today, police said.
Hanmanth Reddy, attached to Karkhana police station and working at the IT wing in the office of DCP North Zone, was rushed to a private hospital and is undergoing treatment, police said, adding that Reddy is doing well and is kept under observation.
Police suspect that he was depressed over financial issues. Further probe is on.
