Hyderabad: Customs sleuths today seized gold worth Rs 1.5 crore from three women passengers at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) at Shamshabad in Hyderabad.
The passengers, all belonging to Hyderabad brought 5.154 kgs of gold from Singapore valued at Rs 1.5 crores in the form of thick gold strips (waist belts) by a flight this morning, Customs officials said.
The trio, whose identification was not revealed, were produced before a local court and further investigations were on.
