Hyderabad:
A woman lecturer at Anantapur Arts College in Andhra Pradesh was attacked with a knife on the college premises by her husband on Thursday afternoon.
Sumangali is working as a Commerce lecturer. Her estranged husband, Pares, today attacked her on the open ground opposite the Commerce department.
Sumangali immediately raised an alarm. A girl and other students who heard her came running and saved her. They also caught her husband and handed him over to the police.
The couple was living separately for the past one year.
Sumangali recently filed a domestic violence case against her husband and had sought divorce.
