Hyderabad:
After the serial blasts in Patna at Narendra Modi's rally earlier in the day, police in Hyderabad stepped up security.
"Security checks are going on and it will continue for some more days in view of Diwali festival," a senior official said.
"A general alert has been issued here and various wings of city police are conducting anti-sabotage checks at public places, lodges, cinema halls and malls," he said.
