Hyderabad: A 17-year-old daughter of a senior Naval officer posted in Visakhapatnam has gone missing from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad in Hyderabad, police said today.
"Kairavi Sharma, daughter of Arvind Sharma, who studies in Pune had recently completed her XI standard. She was on her way back to Pune from Visakhapatnam on June 14 via Hyderabad when she got down at the airport and has gone missing since then," RGIA police station inspector M Mahesh said.
Her father lodged a complaint with police, following which a missing case has been registered and efforts are on to trace her, the inspector said.
Kairavi's mobile phone is switched-off, he said, adding that an investigation is on.
