The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence has seized over 3 kgs gold at Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
On specific intelligence, officials intercepted a passenger and a ground handling staff and recovered gold worth 90 lakh rupees.
The passenger had arrived by an Emirates flight from Dubai on Friday morning.
The gold was found wrapped in black tapes in two packets and was being handed over by the passenger to the ground handling staff to be carried out of the airport.
