Hyderabad:
A prisoner at the Cherlapally Jail on the outskirts of Hyderabad seemed to be flouting major jail rules after images emerged of him speaking on a cell phone inside the premises.
It was Yadigiri, a prisoner arrested in connection with the bail scam case of Gali Janardhan Reddy, a politician and mining baron from Karnataka, who was found to be using a cell phone by jail authorities.
He was arrested in September, 2012 and is accused of mediating a deal between the mining baron and CBI judge T Pathabhirama Rao.
The Director General (Prisons) is expected to address a press conference on Thursday.
