Telugu Actor Ravi Babu stood in a queue with a piglet playing a central character in his film, "Adhugo".
Hyderabad:
This little piggy went not to the market but to a bank in Hyderabad this morning. Perhaps one of its companions stayed at home, while another had no absolutely roast beef to eat.
In any case, people waiting in line at an ATM this morning were in for some star-watching: in person, to pull out cash, was actor-filmmaker Ravi Babu. And accompanying him, a piglet.
Not just any piglet, but the actual animal that plays the central character in his upcoming Telugu film, "Adhugo".
"Wherever I go these days, I take the piglet along. I can't leave him at home because there's nobody to take care. I had to withdraw cash from the bank, so I decided to take the piglet with me. Although people were a little surprised to see it, nobody made a fuss out of it," Ravi Babu told news agency IANS.
The film is currently in post-production.
"I raised a few piglets in my friend's farm for the film. While most of the film was shot with them, we did use animatronics to shoot some important sequences. It's the first time an Indian film has used a piglet," he said.
Presumably neither the actor nor the piggy cried all the way home after getting their hands on some cash.
