On camera, a biker was swept away by floodwater after heavy rain in Hyderabad yesterday, but he was rescued just in time.
The man, trying to make his way through a flooded road, lost his balance and fell off his bike and the vehicle was washed away.
Before the strong currents could sweep him away too, he was dragged aside and saved by another man.
Visuals showed roads submerged in Borabanda area of the city and most shops with closed shutters. Autorickshaws were seen being washed away in the floodwaters while locals struggled to save their two-wheelers.
A car blocked one of the roads, likely swept away by the floodwaters from where it was parked.
Hyderabad has received heavy rain over the past few days.
