A 34-year-old woman software engineer allegedly committed suicide at her house in Nallagalla area here, police said.
The police registered a case of abetment of suicide against her husband.
Mrs Malleshwari, who worked with an IT firm in Madhapur area, was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her house, sub-inspector Jafar Ali of Chandanagar Police Station said.
Her husband, Amit M, is also a software engineer and works in the same company. They got married in 2009 and have a five-year-old old daughter.
The woman's parents lodged a complaint against Mr Amit alleging that he was harassing her which led to her suicide, PSI Ali said.
No arrest has been made yet. Probe is on.
