Andhra Pradesh Agriculture Minister Kanna Lakshminarayana told reporters yesterday.

The event has been organised by World Agriculture Forum (WAF), which works towards bringing together the leaders from the private sector and policy makers to focus on providing food, fuel, fibre and water to the world's growing population, officials said.

Union Minister of State for Agriculture Tariq Anwar will attend as honorary guest. Representatives from reputed agriculture-related organisations like Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture, (CRIDA), The International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid-Tropics (ICRISAT) are also expected to attend the meet.
