Jammu: A fresh batch of 1,282 pilgrims today left for twin base camps of Amarnath cave shrine in South Kashmir Himalayas amidst tight security.
A total of 1,212 pilgrims, including 908 males, 304 females, and 70 Sadhus left in a cavalcade of 43 vehicles from the Bhagwati Nagar base camp in Jammu for the two base camps of Pahalgam and Baltal base camps in Kashmir this morning, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Jammu, Simrandeep Singh said.
Till date 1,87,903 Yatris had 'darshan' at the holy cave.
