As many as 1.92 lakh applications have been received for the preliminary exam of Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) 2016 which will be held on May 31, an official said on Sunday.
MPPSC secretary Manohar Dubey said the examination will be conducted at 51 districts headquarters and it is being held for 255 posts in the state government.
Earlier, the examination was scheduled for May 29 but there was another Union Public Service Commission exam around the same time, so it was postponed to May 31, Mr Dubey added.
