A 42-year-old man was killed and 40 others injured, four of them critically, when a bus overturned near Dhanrajpur in Jarwal road area in Bahraich, police said on Wednesday.
The incident occurred on Tuesday when a private bus carrying passengers was going to Lucknow and it overturned as the driver lost control over it, they said.
While conductor Mr Rajesh died on the spot, 40 other injured were taken to the hospital, where condition of four was stated to be critical.
