New Delhi: At least 12 children were severely injured while others suffered minor injuries in an accident after their school bus overturned in Delhi today.
The private bus was carrying around 30 students of the Rukmani Devi and Victoria Girls Senior Secondary schools. The injured students were rushed to the nearby Sushruta Trauma Centre.
The accident occurred when the bus was speeding down from the Inter-State Bus Terminal or ISBT flyover in north Delhi. The driver reportedly lost control while trying to avoid hitting a broken road divider.
