11 Jaganmohan Reddys file nomination to contest Kadapa bypoll
Kadapa: Former MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who is seeking re-election to the Lok Sabha from Kadapa, shares his name with ten others, who have filed their nomination papers for the bypolls to be held on May 8.
    
Among the 57 candidates who have filed their nomination for the bypolls, a total of 11 people, including the son of late Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, are named Jaganmohan Reddy.
    
Jagan, whose resignation after he quit the Congress party in November necessitated the by-elections, has filed his papers from the YSR Congress Party.
    
Similarly, there are three Ravindra Reddys, including Health Minister D L Ravindra Reddy who is representing the Congress.
    
Besides, two Mysoora Reddys have also filed their nominations for the election.
    
Thirty-six persons filed their papers on the last day of filing nominations today.
    
Jagan's mother Y S Vijayalakshmi would be taking on her estranged brother-in-law and Congress nominee Y S Vivekananda Reddy for the bypoll in Pulivendula Assembly constituency, to be held on the same day.
