Jaipur: An 11-year-old girl died of dengue in Jaipur taking the number of dead due to the vector-borne disease to seven in the state.
Muskan was admitted to JK Lone hospital on September 25. She died yesterday, hospital sources said.
With this, seven persons have died due to dengue in the state from January 1 to September 28, they said, adding a total of 1,073 cases of the vector-borne disease have been reported during this period.
Meanwhile, Health Minister Rajendra Rathore held a review meeting for the seasonal diseases and gave necessary directions to the officials of the Medical and Health Department.
He asked the Chief Medical and Health officers to regularly conduct field visits and send rapid response teams to affected areas.
