Ukhrul, Manipur:
Twelve people were killed and 19 others injured when a bus fell into a deep gorge near Layee bridge in Nagaland's Phek District.
The incident happened on Friday evening. Thirty five people were onboard, they were part of a marriage party and belonged to Jessami village in Manipur.
Those seriously injured have been admitted to the Phek district hospital. Two of the critically injured have been airlifted by the Indian Army to hospitals in capital Kohima or Imphal in Manipur for better treatment.
