13 More Die of Swine Flu in Rajasthan, Toll Climbs to 130

Jaipur:
Thirteen more people, including a Swiss woman, died of swine flu in Rajasthan today, raising the toll due to the virus to 130.
 
While Nagaur and Jodhpur reported three deaths each, two persons died in Jaipur and Ajmer each and one death took place in Barmer, Karauli and Jaisalmer each, an official of the Medical and Health Directorate (MHD) said.
 
"Out of 1,631 people tested positive for the virus, 130 have died in the state since January 1," the official said. 
 
Animarie, the 70-year-old tourist from Switzerland, was referred to Mathuradas Mathur Hospital in Jodhpur yesterday from a private hospital in Jaisalmer where she was found positive for H1N1 virus, Jodhpur Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr YV Singh Rathore said.
 
So far, Jaipur has reported 23 deaths due to the H1N1 virus, maximum in the state, followed by Ajmer 21, Barmer 12, Nagaur 12, Jodhpur 11, Chittorgarh 7, Banswara 6, Kota 5, Bikaner and Tonk 4 each, Sikar and Bhilwara 3 each and Dausa, Jhunjhunu, Pali, Bundi, Jaisalmer and Udaipur two each. 
 
Bharatpur, Churu, Karauli, Srigangangar, Hanumangarh, Dungarpur and Alwar have recorded one death each.
