New Delhi: Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan are currently in New York for the 18th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards. At a press conference on Thursday morning, Katrina, who gave her first hit film opposite Salman, said that she met the actor at the age of 18. "I was 18 when I met Salman and that is the most memorable thing," Katrina told news agency PTI. To which, Salman replied, "There is nothing naughty that I did. And there is nothing memorable that I have done." Katrina debuted in 2003 with
Boom. However, Salman's 2005 film
Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya?, was her first hit. Katrina and Salman, rumoured exes, later co-starred in the 2014 blockbuster film
Ek Tha Tiger.
At the press conference, Salman said that though he's not good with dates, but he clearly remembers Katrina's birthday. Katrina will celebrate her 34th birthday on July 16. "I am not good with dates, not good with dates at all. The only one date I remember right now is Katrina's birthday." He later sang 'Happy Birthday' for Katrina. Celebs like Alia Bhatt, Shahid Kapoor and Varun Dhawan, who were present at the press conference, also joined Salman.
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will perform at the 18th IIFA awards. The main event is scheduled to take place on July 15.

Ek Tha Tiger.
Tiger Zinda Hai is expected to release during Christmas this year.
