2,000 Kilograms of Explosives Seized in Bihar

Munger, Bihar: A large quantity of explosives were today seized from a forest near Bhim Bundh in Bihar's Munger district, a police officer said.

Acting on a tip off, a team of security forces led by CRPF Deputy Commandant Gunjan Kumar carried out a combing operation and seized 2,000 kg of ammonium nitrate contained in 40 sacks weighing 50 kg each, Superintendent of Police Varun Kumar Sinha said.

The explosives were hidden under a heap of leaf, he said.
