Panaji: Two passengers were injured when a false ceiling at Goa airport collapsed this morning.
"Two of the passengers were injured but they were given first aid and later they proceeded for their journey," Dabolim Airport director KS Rao said.
The ceiling would be repaired immediately, he added.
The new terminal building was inaugurated in December, 2013. It is an integrated facility which handles both domestic and international operations.
Constructed at the cost of Rs 345 crore, the building can handle peak-hour passenger traffic of 2,750 at a time.
