Srinagar: Two Indian Air Force commandos training with the army were killed in a fierce encounter with terrorists in Kashmir's Bandipora early this morning. Two terrorists have been shot dead.
Security forces surrounded a house in a village after specific inputs about the presence of terrorists. The terrorists fired from the house, after which the forces retaliated.
"The operation is going on," said Sheikh Zulfikar, senior police officer in Bandipora.
The Air Force Garud commandos were with the army for operational experience and training.
