Raipur: Two wanted Naxals were arrested today in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district, police said.
Kawasi Hinga (40) and Madvi Mada (22) were nabbed in Bater village under the Konta police station limits, Sukma Additional Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh told PTI.
A joint squad of Central Reserve Police Force's 217th battalion and the district police was out on a search operation in Konta area, about 500 km from Raipur, when it got a tip-off about the duo.
Hinga and Mada are accused of being involved in several incidents loot, arson and attack on police in the area, the ASP said.
