Burdwan, West Bengal: Two workers died today after inhaling gas which leaked from a blast furnace of Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP) in Burdwan district.
When the workers were refilling the blast furnace number 3 of Durgapur Steel plant, some of them fell ill after inhaling gas which leaked from the blast furnace.
They were taken to the Ispat Hospital in Durgapur.
Two of the workers who were admitted to the hospital after inhaling leaked gas died in the hospital at around 10.30 pm, the doctors of Ispat Hospital said.
