Fire tenders that arrived on the spot struggled to control the fire for hours.
Authorities say intense heat in the area could be the culprit. Temperature in Jehanabad soared to 42 degree Celsius on Thursday.
There have been instances of fire across Bihar in the last few days, and officials say that rising heat is the cause in many cases.
Officials said a formal investigation has also been launched to ascertain the cause of fire.
