Around 250 people fell sick after consuming stale food during a marriage ceremony in Sambhal, an officer said today.
Additional District Magistrate SN Singh said that after consuming food in Hassanpur Mujafta village last evening, the invitees complained of nausea and vomiting.
Prima facie, it seemed to be a case of food poisoning, he said.
The patients were admitted to a hospital and discharged late night.
