Union Minister Kapil Sibal has said the government had expected this. Mr Swamy's case, he said was "politically motivated."

BREAKING NEWS: Subramanian Swamy's petition that Home Minister P Chidambaram be made a co-accused in the 2G case has been DISMISSED by the CBI trial court.
All access to the 2G courtroom has now been blocked off by securitymen. Subramaniam Swamy has been inside the courtroom now for about 15 minutes.
P Chidambaram is still inside his house in the Capital. There is no word yet on whether he will after all visit Tamil Nadu for a function today as planned. As we had reported earlier, the home minister cancelled his morning meetings at the North Block, and has been home all day so far. He was briefed on security affairs by the Director of the Intelligence Bureau and others as he usually is.
At the court, security has asked reporters to move out. But no one is moving.
From our reporter at the packed Patiala House: "The suspense here is killing. Only (Subramaniam) Swamy has been allowed inside the court for now. We're all waiting outside the courtroom. This place is jampacked!!!"

Judge Saini is not in the courtroom yet. He is still in his chambers.


The order is now expected at 12.30 pm. Watch this space.

Subramanian Swamy reaches CBI special court
As he left for court, Mr Swamy told NDTV: "No one is above the law. Chidambaram has lot of answering to do before the court. I have submitted all documents against him."
