Chandigarh: Three Indian Air Force jawans feared drowned in the Gaggar river in Panchkula district of Haryana on Sunday.
Four IAF personnel had come for a picnic in Morni village of Panchkula, close to the tourist destination of Morni hills, when three of them stepped into the river, police said
MS Chahal of Bathinda, KKumar of Andhra Pradesh and Vikas Kumar of Bihar were washed away in the gushing waters.
The locals were alerted by the fourth IAF jawan. Efforts are on to trace them.
