3 Policemen Injured In Grenade Attack In Kashmir's Budgam District

Srinagar: Three policemen were injured in a grenade attack today by suspected terrorists at a crowded market in Kashmir's Budgam district, a police officer said.

Manzoor Ahmad, Shabir and Maroof were injured this morning in the grenade explosion near a taxi stand at Chadoora, 15 km from Srinagar, he said.

They were rushed to a hospital with splinter injuries, the officer said, adding, a manhunt has been launched to nab the culprits.

No terrorist organisation has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
