New Delhi:

Three hundred sixty three Jet pilots went on 'sick leave' on Tuesday morning. One hundred eighty four flights were cancelled through the day

This left 13,000 passengers grounded. Jet pilots say they want two of their colleague who were sacked to be re-hired.

Jet Airlines claims this mass leave by pilots is illegal. The airline sent doctors to the houses of most pilots to help establish that the "mass sick leave" was actually a full-on strike.

The government has warned that it may use the Essential Management Services Act (ESMA) to force the pilots to return to work.

The Jet management also took the issue to the Bombay High Court which has ruled that pilots cannot strike.

There's no confirmation on whether pilots will be back at work on Tuesday.

According to latest reports with NDTV Jet has terminated three more pilots.
