Begusarai, Bihar: Four headless bodies were recovered today from a ditch near Sanha Railway crossing in Bihar's Begusarai district, a police official said.
"Some women were collecting fodder near a ditch when they came across the bodies lying there. They promptly informed the police," Sahebpur Kamal Police Station in-charge Rajesh Kumar said.
He said the four corpses -- one of a woman, two minor girls and a boy have been sent for postmortem.
Mr Kumar said that an investigation is under way.
Efforts are on to ascertain the identity of the victims, the official said.
