Srinagar: At least seven civilians were injured today in a grenade attack by militants in Shopian district of south Kashmir, police said.
The ultras hurled a grenade at a police party in main town market of Shopian, 52 kms from Srinagar.
The grenade missed the intended target and exploded in a crowded place, resulting in injuries to seven persons, a police official said.
The injured have been rushed to a local hospital.
