5,000 cyclists to take part in India Cyclothon

New Delhi: Over 5,000 cyclists from across the world will participate in the BSA Hercules India Cyclothon event to be held in New Delhi on Sunday.

The BSA Hercules Cyclothon, India's largest cycling event, will be held in five categories - Professional (100 km), National (50 km), Amateur and Corporate (25 km), Green Ride (15 km) and  Children (5 km).

Apart from Indian participants, the event will also see in action professional cyclists from Belgium, Holland, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Africa among others.

Film star Salman Khan, along with his brothers Arbaaz, Sohail, sister Alvira and sister-in-law Malaika Arora will be participating in the event.

Salman will be cycling along with the participants to spread the awareness about how the sport helps people to stay fit and counter heart diseases.
