Kolkata: Five people were killed and two others injured today when a truck in which they were travelling overturned in West Bengal's Howrah district, police said.
The accident happened in the early hours of the day when the truck laden with bricks overturned and fell into a ditch.
"Five people including the driver were killed on the spot while two others were hospitalised with serious injuries," said a police officer.
